Located close to Milan, Italy, Lake Como is Surrounded by magnificent mountains, but famed for its atmospheric sense of calm and elegance. The wishbone-shaped lake is over 20 miles long, and is one of the deepest in Europe . Colourful towns and villages caress the shores of Lake Como.
Lake Como has been a popular holiday destination for aristocrats and the wealthy since Roman times – due to its beautifully kept public gardens, historic villas and dramatic views –and of course, having George and Amal Clooney as residents adds to its fame!! Bellagio is one of the most stunning lakeside towns not only on the lake,. It’s known for its lavish villas – particularly Villa Serbelloni and Villa Melzi – pretty cobbled streets and breathtaking views from the tip of the peninsula.
Our Lake Como experience includes a stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo – a simply magical hotel which will captivate you.
The Grand Hotel Tremezzo is an iconic art nouveau masterpiece sitting on the western shores of Lake Como. With views spanning the crystalline waters towards Bellagio and the Grigne mountains, we treat guests to sumptuous accommodation, three pools, a lakeside private beach and lavish private park, all with the warmest hospitality all’italiana.
Included in our stay is a trip to Bellagio with a private guide. Bellagio has been named the ‘pearl of Lake Como’ and has even been referred to as the most beautiful town in Europe. On this tour you will get time to visit the incredible Villa Melzi. You will take the ferry from your hotel to Bellagio with your guide.

3 hours private guide and entrance tickets to Villa Melzi. (Ferry tickets not included, €26 return per person, can be purchased on the spot).
Or you can combine your stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo with 4 hour tour of Como by private Venetian Boat. Your private Guide will travel with you and point out many of the ancient Villas of the lake such as Villa d’Este, Villa Fontanelle (previously owned by Gianni Versace, Villa Oleandra owned by George Clooney. In Como itself you will visit the historical centre with the famous Duomo at its centre.
