Paris Jazz Experience

On this night time tour you will discover two famous yet very different Jazz clubs, which will bring the Jazz scene of Paris to life.

Our Jazz Experience in Paris will take you back in time to the post- war era of the 1940's.  Your Guide will tell you all about the Jazz scene in Paris, about the many famous artists who played there and still play there.  You will go first to a cosy little Jazz bar called Duc de Lombards where you will enjoy an intimate hour of pure Jazz whilst sipping your cocktail and embrassing the atmosphere. For over 40 years Duc de Lombards has been the Parisian benchmark for Jazz clubs offering over 300 concerts per year.

After this cosy intimate experience you will move on to something completely different - Caveau de la Huchette.  The building dates back to the 16th century and is more like a Cavern.  It actually features in the film La La Land where Ryan Gosling's character plays piano in a club and people got up to dance.  Located in the Latin Quarter of Paris Caveau de la Huchette opened in 1946.  It was frequented by the greats such as Count Basie, Sydney Bechet and many more. The club opens at 9pm and even if you don't like dancing, you will dance! Because the atmosphere and the Jazz band will captivate you!

Relax and enjoy French Jazz at the notable clubs ‘Le duc des Lombards’ and ‘Le Caveau de la Huchette’, accompanied by a guide that will tell you all about the history of Jazz in France.

Take in some music in a truly unique setting that can only be found in the City of Lights.
